Planners’ comments
Looking at Route Gadget it looks as though there was plenty of choice (path versus straight versus contour) The aim was always to get the longer courses off the paths and take you through the woods wherever possible. Orange had the choice of path or straight or line feature wherever possible although the hill between 7 and 8 was a bit of a killer.
Thanks to all my helpers - Dave and Keith (road crossing), Jan (Car Park and Controls), Ruth, Jaquie and Simon (Controls), Mike (Printing, Map Sales OCAD and planning advice). Thanks also to Goodwood Estate for allowing us access to a new area. I'm assured that Open Winkins which we will be using next year for a Regional Event is even better than East Dean.
