Planner's comments
 Before planning can be started in earnest, the car parking arrangements have to be finalized. Guided by land owner Simon Greenwood, the tenant farmer, Pete Dutton had no hesitation in allowing the club to use the most appropriate field adjacent to the wood allowing courses to be constructed using the southern part of the wood to best advantage. Pete changed his herds grazing pattern to suit our needs, grazing the strip used the day before our event since evidently cows will only eat long grass. For his willingness to help the club, Pete deserves our appreciation.
From comments received it appears that the courses went down well and looking at the results some fine performances were achieved, particularly by the juniors. The Yellow and Orange courses were quite challenging in their early stages hence the taped route to the first control. One surprising result on the Blue course was the number of disqualification due to mis-punching at control 2. The correct control number 80, stream source did not look anything like control 68, ditch junction which was the first control on the Green course.
As always it is the team of helpers that make events possible. Many thanks to Claire for herding the cars in the field, to Ali and Mike for collecting all your money and sorting out registration problems, to Andy, Mark and Robin for collecting in the controls and of course stalwarts Jaquie and Peter for manning the computer.
