Information for Membership for 2009

There are two types of membership available either BOF Local membership for those who only wish to orienteer locally, and BOF National for those who wish to compete in events throughout the country and at all levels.

Newcomers will probably find that club membership is adequate to start with. This will enable you to enter all Southdowns events. If at a later stage you wish to enter Regional events in the South East or in a wider area, your membership can easily be extended to include BOF membership by notifying the membership secretary and paying the extra fee.

The membership fees are yearly from 1st January and for 2009 are as follows:-cheques payable to 'Southdowns Orienteers' please.

NOTE Anyone joining after the beginning of September 2008 will be given membership until the end of 2009 upon payment of the full year subscription fees for 2009.

Junior Individuals who are under 21*
Family Couples plus any children in the family who are under 25* sharing the same permanent address
Group School, scout, youth, and other organisations. Seniors within a group need individual BOF membership to compete at Regional level events and above.
*under 21/25 for the year 2009 age must be < 21/25 at the end of the year ie. 31.12.2009 -
